Clean facility. Only two handicapped parking spaces. Very limited parking for a recreational center.

PLEASE PLEASE DONT ALLOW YOUR CHILDREN TO GO TO THIS NON PROFESSIONAL PLACE ! They allow your kids to roam outside without supervision if something happens to your kids they don’t care they said out of their mouth or we don’t tell the kids what to do it’s whatever their parents allow, but I promise if a parent knew that while their are at work that their children are outside with NO ADULTS MIND YOU THESE ARE ELEMENTARY KIDS who are in 5th picking on younger elementary schoolers! GRAND PRAIRIE IS LITERALLY HIRING ANYBODY TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR KIDS & ITS GOING DOWN HILL! My daughter was playing at the park next to it as any other day and a girl who is very much older then my daughter decide to taunt her into fighting and bc their is no supervision out their for the “Rec kids” about 15-20 kids just out there is fighting cussing and BULLY other kids on the playground . I should have know when a VERY KNOWN TEACHER from Morton told me that Charley Taylor Rec was the most worse place to put your children don’t bc it is not safe I should have believed it ,but I BELIEVE IT NOW !

We did not go inside the recreation center we went to the playground next to the center. The playground is small but has plenty of stuff for the kids to climb on. Have a rock for rock climbing. No swings. Recreation center looks like it has a lot of activities for the children to do. Wanted to sign up for the boxing but it was full. So I will keep that in mind for next year.

Large dining room with kitchen. Excellent areas for preparing and ser ving foods. Room was large enough for dining and video entertainment. Adequate parking. Wonderful venue for area events.

So glad the Grand Prairie police department has opened up the youth boxing club here. It’s was an amazing upgrade. Coaches are great and my son is learning so much from them.

Friendly staff. Great place to play open court volleyball, basketball, and pickleball. They have a decent sized weight room that is not packed. Play area with arcade games, ping pong table, foosball, and air hockey. The whole rec center is clean, including showers and restroom.
